President Rogers studio interview from MWSU Campus Watch on Vimeo.
Jesse Rogers has been president of Midwestern State University since 2001, but his story at the college began well before that when he became a professor of chemistry and physics in 1967.
Rogers announced his retirement last May, and now in the final year of his presidency, he faces a busy year full of big changes for the university, and crucial legislative sessions in Austin that will decide the future of MWSU.
In nearly half-a-century at the university, Rogers has witnessed more of Midwestern State’s history than anyone, from pivotal decisions that changed the course of the university, to Rogers nearly blowing up his own chemistry class.
Join us for this studio interview where Rogers talks about the legacy he will leave behind and his post-retirement plans.
