Derek Oland, junior in business, is in the running to be selected as the DII golfer for the Palmer Cup and tomorrow morning live at 7:30 a.m on the Golf Channel’s Morning Drive.

Oland said, “It’s cool to be in consideration and to see all the hard work pay off. Just having my name affiliated with Arnold Palmer is a big honor whether I get in or not.”

The teams will also be announced at the same time on the Palmer Cup website. The Palmer Cup is an international collegiate event between the United States and Europe. The event brings together eight US collegiate players and eight players from Great Britain and Ireland.

In DII, Oland is ranked fourth and ranked second in the South Central region.
