Valentine’ Day has campus buzzing from MWSU Campus Watch on Vimeo.
Valentine’s Day is a day for love; to spread the feeling all around and MSU is doing a good job of displaying this throughout the campus.
“It’s an interesting holiday from like how it originated to what it is now it’s kind of crazy, like most holidays it gets blown up but I don’t see anything wrong with it. It’s a way to celebrate someone that you like-love, your significant other or even like just friends, family. It’s a good way to celebrate the people that you care about,” Macy Pritchett, a freshman in education, said.
Those who celebrate this holiday, celebrate it in different ways. Valentine’s Day brings out the romantic emotions in people and some have a few ideas about what they would like to do.
“My perfect date would probably be going to an Italian place called Alfredo’s in Lewisville, it’s great. And then going for a walk and just talking and then like maybe go and watch a movie,” Pritchett said.
This holiday is celebrated from the most extravagant ways to the most simple ways, and MSU students are doing their part.
