At the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Forum Nov. 21, the following students received recognition.
The best oral presentation recognition went to Tylor Thomas, Clarke O’Conner, Johnny Blevins and Makenzie Johnson for “Telemetry Data Collection from Photovoltaic Solar Panel and Wind Turbine.” The four also won for best abstract.
Leona Sandiford received second place in oral presentation for “Investing in Arts Education.”
Emily Herzog, Brandon Helms, James Wood and Elliot Gibson received third place in oral presentation for “A Dual Wind Turbine Design.”
The best poster recognition went to Jeff Snowden Jr. for “Meter Scale Cycles in the Bromide Formation of Oklahoma: Implications for Interpreting Ancient Sea Level Change.”
Mary Brady, Jacob Hardin and Krystal Woods received second place for poster presentation with Jacob Hardin. The three also received the top award for best interdisciplinary presentation and most creative and original presentation.
Sarah Weary received third place in poster presentation for “Subsurface Correlation of the Ordovician Bromide Formation in Southern Oklahoma.”
