Midwestern State University police are investigating an alleged sexual assault that happened late Wednesday night on-campus.

In a Postmaster sent Friday morning, MSU Chief of Police Patrick Coggins says the victim reported the assault occurred in a residence hall on campus “during the late evening hours of Wednesday, Sept. 2.”

The victim and suspect are known to each other and are students at MSU Texas.
