Okay, so maybe you are stuck here in Wichita Falls for spring break but do not be too upset because it may not be as bad as you think. Even though I am not staying in Wichita Falls over spring break, I have before and I have thought of a few ways you can enjoy your stay here.
First find another lone wolf, that way it looks like you meant to stay in Wichita Falls. You would not want to leave a friend behind…you are only thinking of others.
You cannot be alone on one of the most exciting weeks of the year.
In your off time during the week catch up on homework! I know this sounds so lame but you will thank me when all your friends come back and cannot go out that first Thursday because they are so far behind in their classes.
Plus stress causes hair loss and since you will not be stressed towards the end of the semester since you already have gotten ahead in your classes, you guys out there will have a better shot with the ladies… because no one likes a balding guy. Period.
Starting Wednesday of spring break the bars and clubs will be up and running and most of all, ready for business. The bars will not be as busy because everyone will be out of town. This will leave you with more drinks and more opportunities with the opposite sex. I mean you already have something in common with them; you both did not get any invites to get out of this town.
Think about how much money you are saving by not going to some beach that is probably infested with sharks and police anyway.
You will have a nice warm bed, and no drunken friends to take care of.
All that money you are saving can go towards your savings fund for moving out of here after you graduate.
Plus you could find a place to live that is by the beach and then spring break will be all year round.
If you spend spring break in Wichita Falls you will look like a good friend, catch up on homework or even get ahead, you will not be bald, you will have a better chance at the bar, you will save money and one day have a beautiful house on the beach.
Who needs a destination spring break anyway?
You can thank me later.
