The women’s soccer game against the Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs, at the Stang Park was cancelled on Sunday Sept. 16 at 3:50 p.m., due to the weather. The Mustangs, freshman biology Senna Garcia, scored one point before the game ended, making the score 1-0.

“I was just thinking I wanted to score.” Garcia said when asked what she was thinking when she got the ball.

With thunder roaring and clouds hovering over the game, thunder was caught 6 miles away from the Stang Park. The game was postponed until 4:00 p.m., to see how the weather would affect the game. The Mustang Women’s next soccer game will be on Sept. 21 on Friday at 7:00 p.m., in San Angelo, Texas.
