The cast of “Summer and Smoke” will perform a matinee Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. for local high schools. The first public performance will be Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. The last performance will be Nov. 22 at 2:30 p.m.

- Friday to Saturday, November 20 to 21 at 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, November 22 at 2:30 p.m.
“The language is beautiful to read, but to find ways to speak it like a character would speak it sometimes is difficult,” Drew Davison, playing Rev. Winemiller and assistant scenic designer, said.
The play, Summer and Smoke, is written by Tennessee Williams.
