Get ahold of your friends and family, put on your Cajun attire, and head downtown to shop, eat, and dance for Wichita Falls eighth annual Cajun Fest May 9 hosted by Wichita Falls Development and the Elks Lodge.

Cajun Fest will serve as a fundraiser for Downtown Wichita Falls Development and other nonprofits
Scott Dulaney, business senior said, Wichita Falls puts on great events and gives people a chance revisit the past.
“I like events like these that get put on downtown. It’s a chance for people to get together and go look at history and have a good time while doing it. Events like Cajun Fest provide a great atmosphere.”
This year Cajun Fest will be presenting three bands. Headlining will be CJ Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band. Supporting bands will be Austin bands Dr. Zog, and Crooks. Starting and the day will be locals the Black and White Band and Mike O’ Neil.
