The women’s volleyball program will host a spring tournament on Saturday, April 6 at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
MSU will play host to six other teams in the tournament, including The University of Texas of the Permian Basin, Tarleton State University, Southwestern Christian College, Texas A&M-Commerce, Cameron University and a group of MSU Alumni.
Games will be played in a round robin format with teams playing a total of four games, with a 15-minute transition and warm-up period between each game. Time will be limited to one hour of play.
Admission for the tournament will be a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Wichita Falls Food Bank. Concession stands will be open during the games for those in attendance.
The volleyball team’s schedule for Saturday will start at 8:30 a.m. when they face Cameron on court one. They’ll follow that game up at 9:45 a.m. on court two against SCC. Game three will be played at 12:15 p.m. on court one against Tarleton State, and the team’s last game will be a showdown with the MSU Almuni on court one at 4 p.m.
Following the tournament, a clinic will be held from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
