My name is Jeri Ware, I'm a mass communication senior, and I'm the Business Manager for The Wichitan. When I'm not trying to sell ad space, I'm trying to pitch in with stories or reviews from time to time.

My hobbies are gaming, hiking, cooking, and I'm also a gardener. So far, through gardening, we've cut one-third of the grocery budget and learned that more parts of the plant are edible than what we're accustomed to eating. The goal is to make it to growing three-quarters of our grocery budget.

I'm not really from any one place, as every few years I move. I can't stay in one spot for long. The world is a big place and I want to walk as much of it as possible.

Becoming a journalist is a dream I've had ever since I was 5 years old and obsessed with Barbara Walters. It felt like her job was one of the most important jobs in the world and I knew this was what I wanted to do too.
