Sharome Burton
Sharome Burton is a sports journalist and photographer for The Wichitan. He is a first year Mechanical Engineering student with aspirations to get involved in the aerospace engineering industry.

Burton, originally from Roseau, Dominica, spent three years working as a news & sports reporter at his national radio station back home. He also has experience reporting on global events, including the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires as part of the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Young Reporter's Program. He claimed the Steve Parry Award at the 2018 event, in honor of the late former Reuters Sports Editor.

Burton is also part of the MSU Cycling Team and has interest in drawing, free-diving, technology, history, current affairs, and politics.
