The men and women’s basketball team’s held their senior night tonight. The game against Angelo State was also the final home game of the season.

The women won their game first with a score of

69-58 improving their season record to 16-9 and 8-6 in Lone Star Conference play. Kirsti Degelia, math major, and Skyler Warrick, mass communication major, were honored as graduating seniors.

The men also won their game against Angelo State 78-68 and are on a seven game win streak. Head Men’s Coach Nelson Haggerty said, “I am really pleased in the way we performed tonight. This is a big game for us, a really big game. When you talk about NCAA’s and not just conference wise but also when you look at elimination .” Seniors that were honored were Monzaigo Williams,social work, Eddie D’Haiti,mass communication, DeJuan Plummer, general studies, Derek Kaster, sports and leisure studies and Cam Adderley, business.

Abiodun Adegoke, undecided junior, scored 5 points for MSU during their game against Angelo State. MSU won 78-68 at D.L. Ligon Coliseum on Wednesday night.
