Dr.Larry Williams showed much interest in his studsnts in the British Study Program. I observed him as a truly caring person. I was in London with Dr. Larry Williams and Dr. Kenneth Clinton. They worked together to mKe the study abroad program successful. I was a graduate student in 1987.

I congratulate the Wichitan, and Serah Welborn in particular, for such a fine article about Larry Williams and MSU’s study abroad program.
Whether for good or bad, the impact that faculty and administrators have on students is profound. While measures of influence are difficult to come by, I am confident that mostly good comes from one’s college experience at MSU. And, of all those influences, I don’t think any has the potential to broaden one’s life-perspective than the various study abroad programs offered by this university. In that respect, it would be hard to find anyone on this campus who has had more profound affect on students than Larry Williams.
