You really put yourself out there to face difficult opposing views and adverse conditions in a challenging place by being a Christian at a college in rural, conservative, overwhelmingly also-Christian Texas. Not quite as challenging for you as, say, nearly anywhere else short of a church, or nearly any other form of actual, not self-imposed adversity, but definitely praiseworthy.

Your story is very inspiring. Those experiences you mentioned trigger some memories, and from experience, I want you to know that he who has called you is faithful. He will never fail you. Like Apostle Paul, let this be your song: 2 Cor. 12:10 “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” Let the haters keep doing what they know best. Be rest assured that Christ love surpasses all wiles of the devil. God be with you. You will end well in Jesus name.
With your permission, I’ll like to share a copy of your story among our church youths.
