What?

Ms. and Mr. Black Excellence Pageant

Why?

The event was originally scheduled during Black History Month to showcase the students who are poised, confident, ambitious and all-around beautiful people representing the culture in style and grace; however, due to bad weather, the event was postponed to Thursday, April 5, 2018.

CORRECTION: In an earlier version of this story, it said, “Staff from the Office of Equity, Inclusion and Multicultural Affairs organized the event.” The Wichitan regrets this error.
